Fat Tau Chau Lighthouse

The Fat Tau Chau Lighthouse is located on Junk Island, a small island off the coast of Hong Kong.

The lighthouse emits a white light that can be seen up to 9 nautical miles away.

• The light pattern consists of three flashes per minute, with a sequence of two flashes followed by an interval of half a second, then another two flashes separated by a quarter second, and finally another two flashes.

The Fat Tau Chau Lighthouse is currently no longer in use as an active aid to navigation.

It has been automated and is now operated remotely.

The lighthouse is located on Junk Island, which can be accessed by boat from the nearby city of Hong Kong.

The island is part of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
