The Passage Island Lighthouse was constructed in 1894 by the U.S. Lighthouse Board. It is a historic beacon with a Gothic-style architecture.

Standing at an impressive height of 13 feet (4 meters), the lighthouse's Gothic-style architecture makes it a distinctive feature on the lake's horizon. The structure was designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, with a robust foundation and a lantern room that serves as the light source.

Light and Navigation

The original optic lens was replaced in 1968 with an automated flashing white light (Fl(3)W.15s), which remains operational today.
