Light and Navigation

Originally, the light station featured a third-order Fresnel lens, emitting a white light with a range of 15 miles (24 kilometers). The characteristic pattern was Fl(3)W.15s.

Accessibility and Visiting

Although the lighthouse is no longer in operation for navigation purposes, it has been automated since 1970. Visitors can access the site, but the interior is not open to the public.
