History

The Grisetåodde Lighthouse was constructed in 1954. It has been an important aid to navigation for mariners in the area ever since its completion.

The tower is made of concrete and features a distinctive red-and-white striped design. The light source is reported to be a rotating beacon with four distinct colors: red, green, white, and red.
