Grisetåodde Lighthouse

The Grisetåodde Lighthouse is situated on Gammel Færgevej in Struer Municipality, Denmark.

History

The Grisetåodde Lighthouse was constructed in 1954. It has been an important aid to navigation for mariners in the area ever since its completion.

Architecture and Construction Materials

The lighthouse stands at a height of 8 metres (26 feet) above the sea level, with a focal height of 10 metres (33 feet). The tower is made of concrete and features a distinctive red-and-white striped design. The light source is reported to be a rotating beacon with four distinct colors: red, green, white, and red.
