History
The construction of Landahóll began in 1929 and was completed in 1930. The lighthouse has been an important aid to navigation for mariners in the area ever since its completion.
Architecture
Landahóll is a tall, imposing structure with a distinctive design. The tower stands at a height of 26 meters (85 feet) above sea level, while the focal height is 66 meters (217 feet). The lighthouse features five distinct light characteristics: Fl(1+3) 4s, Fl(2+3) 4s, Fl(3+4) 4s, Fl(5+6) 4s, and Fl(1+3) 10s.
