History

The lighthouse was built in 1902. Prior to its dissolution in 2020, the municipality of Torsken existed on Senja Island in Norway.

• The tower height is 6 meters (20 feet) above sea level, however the focal height is not available.
• The light characteristics include a range of 9 nautical miles for white flashes at sector end 166, 7 nautical miles for red flashes at sector start 166, 6 nautical miles for green flashes at sector start 248, and 6 nautical miles for white flashes at sector start 307.
