Ytterholmen Lighthouse
The Ytterholmen Lighthouse was built in 1910 and has been guiding mariners safely to shore ever since.
The lighthouse was constructed on the island of Ytterholmen, located off the coast of Sweden.
Architecture
The Ytterholmen Lighthouse is a white, 9-metre (30 ft) tall tower that stands proudly on the island.
The structure is made of traditional materials such as stone and wood, which have withstood the test of time.
Light Characteristics
The lighthouse emits two white flashes every 30 seconds, making it visible to mariners from a distance of up to 22.1 nautical miles (40.9 km; 25.4 mi).
In addition to the main light, there is also a secondary light that can be seen for up to 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi).

The Ytterholmen Lighthouse is situated on the island of Ytterholmen, approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) west of the town of Sandnessjøen and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) southwest of the Gåsvær islands.
