Location and Accessibility

The Balyozburnu Feneri is situated at Fener Küme Evleri in Erdek, Turkey. The lighthouse is easily accessible by road, with its location near the town center.

History

The Balyozburnu Feneri was constructed in 1930. Its purpose was to serve as a navigational aid for ships navigating the Dardanelles Strait.

Architecture and Construction Materials

The tower of the lighthouse is made of stone and stands at a height of approximately 38 meters (125 feet). The focal height of the light source is reportedly around 50 meters (164 feet).
