The Thirty Mile Point Light is situated on the south shore of Lake Ontario in Niagara County, New York, within Golden Hill State Park. The lighthouse can be accessed via the Interpretive Trail.
History
The Thirty Mile Point Light was built in 1875 using hand-carved stone. It gets its name from being the point 30 miles east of the Niagara River. The old tower is currently undergoing restoration.
