History

The Hải Đăng Sinh Tồn stands at a height of approximately 30 meters (98 feet) above sea level, with a focal height of around 50 meters (164 feet). The tower is constructed from reinforced concrete and features a distinctive cylindrical shape. The lighthouse's architecture is designed to withstand the harsh marine environment and extreme weather conditions.

Light Characteristics

The Sinh Tồn Lighthouse emits a powerful beam of light that can be seen up to 20 nautical miles (37 kilometers) out to sea. The light pattern is characterized by a rotating beam that rotates every 10 seconds, providing mariners with vital navigation information.

Current Status

The Hải Đăng Sinh Tồn remains an active aid to navigation, guiding vessels through the region. However, it has been automated since its completion in 2010, reducing the need for human attendance.
