Former Bugrovsky Lighthouse

The Former Bugrovsky Lighthouse was constructed in 1840 and has been a significant maritime aid to navigation in the region ever since its completion.

• The lighthouse stands at a height of approximately 25 meters (82 feet) above sea level, with a focal height of about 30 meters (98 feet). The tower's structure is made from stone and brick, with a distinctive octagonal shape.

Light Characteristics

The lighthouse features a characteristic red-and-white striped pattern on its lantern room, which can be seen from a distance of approximately 10 nautical miles (18.5 km). The light source is reportedly a kerosene-powered Fresnel lens.

The Former Bugrovsky Lighthouse is currently in a state of disrepair and has been largely abandoned. It is no longer an active aid to navigation, having been automated many years ago.
