History

  • The construction of the Osinovetsky Light began in 1905 and was completed in 1906. The tower was built to serve as a navigational aid for mariners, providing a reliable source of light during the harsh Russian winter months.

Architecture

The lighthouse stands at a height of approximately 25 meters (82 feet) above sea level, with a focal height of around 60 meters (197 feet). The tower is constructed from stone and features a distinctive red-and-green striped pattern on its exterior. The light source consists of four rotating lamps, each emitting a distinct color: red, green, red, and white.
