• The Valentia Front Leading Light was constructed in 1858 by the Commissioners of Irish Lights to serve as a leading light for the Valentia Lighthouse. The structure has played a crucial role in maritime navigation, guiding ships safely into the harbor of Valentia Island.
• The lighthouse stands at an impressive height of 25 meters (82 feet) above sea level, with a focal height of approximately 40 meters (131 feet).
